An extremely rare stater from Lesbos

LESBOS. Uncertain mint. Circa 550-480 BC. Stater (Billon, 23 mm, 13.99 g), light Lesbian standard. Facing forepart of a lion, composed of two lion's foreparts confronted head to head. Rev. Small square incuse punch. BMC p. 150, 3 and pl. XXX, 3. HGC 7, 1063. Traité I 548. Extremely rare. Minor porosity on the obverse and with a thin flan crack, otherwise, very fine.
